Posted 12 May 2013 Data Services Librarian Reed College Deadline: 28 May Reed College seeks a full-time, 2-year limited duration data services librarian reporting to the library’s director of research services. Provides leadership, support, and instruction in the discovery, use, and management of locally and externally available data. Collaborates with librarians, instructional technologists, and other staff to develop scalable and sustainable data services that will support student and faculty research at Reed. Develops best practices to collect, preserve, and provide access to research data. Serves as a resource to students, faculty, and staff on issues of data curation and management, including data management plan development. Performs outreach to increase awareness of data services and resources provided by the library, including promotion of data repositories, web-based tools, and statistical sources.
