Call for Nominations

The Pacific Northwest Library Association has three openings on the Board of Directors in 2013.  Those positions are:

Vice President / President Elect:
•    serves a one- year term and takes office at the end of the conference following election  
•    assumes the office of President the following year               
•    co-chairs the 2014 Conference Committee in Helena with the Montana state representatives

2nd Vice-President:
•    maintains membership records
•    explores ways to recruit and expand membership
•    sends monthly renewal notices, deletes members as appropriate
•    forwards membership payments to the Treasurer
•    updates welcome letters to members within Memberclicks forms
•    runs membership reports with Memberclicks and communicates PNLA Board activity to members

Secretary:
•    serves a two-year term, taking office at the annual conference
•    keeps official record of minutes of Executive Board and annual membership meetings, ensures their accuracy and forwards to webmaster for posting
•    maintains PNLA Board Manual of Procedures
•    conducts Board member elections
 
The deadline for nominations is May 1, 2013. Nominees must be member in good standing of PNLA.
