Featured AuthorsThe PNLA Conference 1999 will feature four authors, as well as many presenters who have published books, reports, studies and articles.Sneed B. Collard III is a children's science book author who lives in Missoula. At the time he agreed to come to the Calgary Conference, Sneed was on his way to the Great Barrier Reef, doing research for a soon-to-be published book. His most recent titles include Forest in the Clouds, Animal Dazzlers, Creepy Creatures and Animal Dads. Hazel Hutchins of Canmore, Alberta, writes for children of all ages, pre-school to pre-teen. Her titles include Shoot for the Moon, Robyn, The Prince of Tarn, The Best of Arlie Zark and Nicholas at the Library. Hazel is also a juggler! Betty Kilgour farms Crocus Coulee, near Three Hills, Alberta, with her husband. Two of her books capture the humour of everyday life -- Crocus Coulee in Bloom and The Best of Crocus Coulee. Her other books reflect her volunteer work and travel in Africa and in the South Pacific. Tololwa M. Mollel is an internationally acclaimed author and storyteller who lives in Edmonton. Many of his books have won awards in Canada and the United States. His most recent titles include Song Bird, Shadow Dance, Kitoto, Dume's Road and Ananse's Feast.
