In Calgary, PNLA will mark 90 years since its establishment. The conference will get off to a "bubbly" start at the opening reception where Ben Wicks, noted author, artist and proponent of literacy, will be the keynote speaker.
The conference theme, Common Ground, encourages us to focus on trends and issues that American and Canadian librarians and information workers have in common. there will be speakers and sessions on literacy, intellectual freedom, management issues, children's and YA services and advocacy. Authors from both sides of the 49th parallel will be featured.
To view and download the conference program and registration form, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. It is available for free at http://www.adobe.com/prodindex/acrobat/readstep.html
