Associate University Librarian Deadline: 1 May The Naval Postgraduate School invites applications for Associate University Librarian (AUL). This senior leadership position provides vision and effective leadership in enhancing and promoting library operations that reflect current needs and anticipate future information trends necessary to support the instructional and research mission of the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS). With the University Librarian, the AUL shares responsibility for leadership and action in strategic planning; policy setting and implementation; and assessment and evaluation initiatives. The AUL acts on the University Librarian’s behalf in her absence or as assigned. The AUL is a key member of the library management team; participates in executive level NPS committees alongside the President, Provost, Associate Provosts, Deans, Associate/Assistant Deans, and Directors/Administrators of major support units (such as Comptroller, Information Technology, and Institutional Research). Position Information: Full-time nontenure-track faculty appointment. Candidate must currently hold or be able to obtain and retain a security clearance at the level of Secret or higher. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Excellent health and retirement benefits.
