Position title: Associate Librarian - Technical & Public Services
Work schedule: 18 hours per week; additional Saturday hours also available
Compensation: $40.22 per hour
Description of job responsibilities: The Associate Librarian – Technical and Public Services, supervises cataloging and book acquisitions. The Librarian provides reference service and develops the book collection in assigned areas. The Librarian may occasionally provide information literacy instructional sessions. The Librarian supervises the work of the Library Acquisitions Paraprofessional and the Cataloging Specialist.
Minimum qualifications:
• Master of Library Science or equivalent from an ALA accredited program
• Experience in library technical services
• Experience or training in cataloging
