The Librarian provides a variety of programs and services for children, young adults, and adults including reference, reader's advisory, tours, story times, computer instruction, and collection development. Work independently or with limited supervision in devising new activities, methods, and procedures to attain library and service area objectives. This is a bargaining unit position. Successful candidates will have a Master of Library Science and Washington State Librarian Certificate, or MEd endorsed for Library Media, or equivalent technical training, education, and/or experience. Bilingual Skills (Spanish/English) are highly desired. Two years of professional library experience is also desirable. Salary ranges is $42,528-55,992 (negotiable DOQ). Plus, no state income tax!
