Part-time Librarian(s) - One year appointment - open until filled.

Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon has two openings for part-time librarian (up to .5FTE) for the 2008/09 academic year. Faculty librarians promote the progressive development of information competencies and research skills by providing reference assistance and bibliographic instruction, by selecting and managing the library's print, non-print and electronic resources, by developing and teaching library courses, and by collaborating with other faculty in curriculum development.

Minimum Qualifications: MLS from ALA-accredited institution, or equivalent, is required.
Professional reference experience in an academic library is preferred.
Recent experience with instructional technologies is preferred.
Recent teaching experience in library classroom settings is preferred.
