Library Director
Livingston-Park County Public Library

The Livingston-Park County Public Library Board of Trustees is seeking an experienced, innovative and service-oriented director to lead the continuing development of library services in a large rural county. The library is located in Livingston, Montana, a renowned fly fishing and outdoor recreation center 56 miles north of Yellowstone National Park on the Great Bend of the Yellowstone River.

Salary Range: $35,000-$37,500 annually (DOQ) with excellent benefits. This is a permanent full-time position with an anticipated start date of Fall 2010.

Qualifications: an MLS from an ALA accredited library program. Three years of progressively responsible library experience, including serving in a supervisory capacity. Working knowledge of library technologies. Demonstrated skills in budgeting and fiscal management. Effective communication and public relations skills. A strong philosophy of customer service.
