 The Director of the Learning Resource Center and Academic Support  Center is responsible for administration and management of the Redmond library serving 1000  students and 120 faculty and staff and the academic support center which  is responsible for providing tutoring for lower division students and  testing services.

 Primary Responsibilities:

 - Oversee entire operations of campus library including collection  development, technical services, access services, reference, user  services and bibliographic instruction.
 - Prepare budget for acquisitions and administration of the library and  academic support center
 - Supervise and train all library and academic support center  employees.
 - Supervise and manage Academic Support Center staff and programs in  conjunction with Academic Departments.
 - Manage Campus Testing Services.
 - Participate on college-wide committees
 - Other duties as assigned

 Qualifications

 - Master’s Degree in Library Science from an American Library  Association (ALA) accredited school.
 - Knowledge of MARC21 formats, AACR2 cataloging rules, LCSH, LCCN, and  OCLC.  Familiarity with OCLC CatME and ILL protocols.
 - Maintains effective working relationships with fellow employees,  other agencies, and the
 public.
 - High level of computer literacy – familiarity with Windows systems,  Internet browsers, FTP software, etc.
 - Communicated clearly and effectively verbally and in writing.
 - Strong commitment to customer service.

 Desired Qualifications:
 - Three years or more of library experience in an institution of higher  education or special library.
