Our longtime director is retiring and we are looking for someone who likes people and books--and loves technological challenges and change. Kohrs Memorial Library is a city-funded public library serving Powell County.

The library director is responsible for the management of the library, including budget preparation and oversight, supervision of the staff, collection development, services for the public, and oversight of building and equipment maintenance.  This position includes other routine library duties.

A college degree in a related field, or in an unrelated field with a library science minor or endorsement, is preferred.   Previous library experience and a positive work record in personnel supervision are also preferred.  Montana State Library certification is required within four years of employment.
