An Executive Fellowship is for STUDENTS who have successfully completed a 
minimum of one academic year of graduate studies, who are actively 
participating in an accredited program, and who will not receive their 
graduate degree before completion of at least half of the duration of the 
Executive Position for which application is being made.  PERMANENT 
WASHINGTON STATE EMPLOYEES, as defined by MSR 356-05-245, are also eligible 
to participate upon written authorization from their agency head or 
designee.  TO APPLY, SEND A:
     
     1.  cover letter
     2.  state application
     3.  copy of school transcripts
     4.  2-3 letters of recommendation, and
     5.  a 300-word essay stating why you want this internship,
     
to the agency contact person indicated below.  It is necessary to submit 
separate packets for each internship position;  photocopies are acceptable.

     MONTHLY SALARY:          $!,984-2508 (Range 37)

     SCOPE OF INTERNSHIP:          Catalog current and historical materials 
and enter them
                         into OCLC, WLN, and INNOPAC.  (No original 
 catalog-
                         ing.)  Develop an historical collection database on 
                         INNOPAC.
     
     DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:     Interactive on-line cataloging experience 
with OCLC and
                         WLN.  Cataloging experience with emphasis on Dewey. 
                         Experience with an automated circulation catalog, 
                         preferably INNOPAC.  Experience with cataloging/ 
                         classifying historical material.
