Reference Librarian. Nampa Public Library seeks candidates for a Librarian
I/II position. RESPONSIBLE FOR: providing reference, ILL and electronic
resource services; assisting with adult collection development; preparing
bibliographies, press releases and other publicity. Includes some evening
and weekend hours. QUALIFICATIONS: ALA/MLS; strong commitment to public
service; and effective Communication skills ate required. Previous library
experience; knowledge of automated integrated library system, CD-ROM
resources and Internet resources; and ability to effectively use a
microcomputer highly desirable. WHO WE ARE; Nampa Public Library is the 5"
largest library in Idaho and serves a growing community of 41,000 located
20 minutes from Boise pop. 120,000). With a circulation of 264,000 and 730
visits per day, we are a busy library with a strong commitment to
excellent customer service. Our staff of 13 FTE (3 professional, 23
paraprofessional) supports intellectual freedom and strives to fulfill our

area in which to live. SALARY & BENEFITS: Salary range is $21,124 - 27,960
