Have you ever been discouraged because you couldn't go to an annual Pacific
Northwest Library Association conference and actually see the award winning
authors? Are you woebegone because hearing the winners speak and seeing
them receive their incredible silver medals has always been denied to you?
Do you pine for your very own autographed copy of the current YRCA winner?

Have we got a deal for you! Beyond Basals, Inc. (AKA Gale Sherman and Bette
Ammon who write the annual YRCA Handbook) is delighted to announce an
opportunity for you to win $100 (yes, it's true...one hundred smackers) to
offset expenses at this year's PNLA conference. The 1997, not-to-be-missed
meeting will be held in Seattle from August 6-9.

To apply for the dough you must:
	Submit (either by E or snail mail of fax) a mind-boggling
suggestion for promoting the Young Reader's Choice Award program in your
school, library, or community. You need not be a PNLA member to enter- but,
gee, you ought to!

15, 1997.
	Winner will be notified by June 30, 1997 and will also receive
their very own, brand new, autographed copy of the HANDBOOK FOR THE 1998
YOUNG READER'S CHOICE AWARD NOMINEES.

The winning entry will be published in the HANDBOOK FOR THE 1999 YOUNG
READER'S CHOICE AWARD NOMINEES.
