The deadline for early-bird registrations  for the 1997 BCLA
conference is quickly approaching. If you register after April 15 you
will pay more to attend the May conference at Guildford Sheraton in
Surrey.

This year's conference has an outstanding program -- including Rex
Murphy from CBC radio as the key-note speaker.  The theme is "Vital
Connections: Libraries and Communities" and many of the sessions
focus on the electronic links libraries make between users and
resources.
