[Thread Prev][Thread Next] erased books-on-tape
I concur with bright dayglow eye-catching labels for materials that are not to be desensitized, labelled DO NOT DESENSITIZE. That seems to have been effective here. But I did want to add another string to this discussion. We have found that borrowers do not always understand the care needed in handling audio and video cassettes. Borrowers often need to be reminded not to place these materials near a strong magnetic force in their homes. Not all our erased cassettes have been erased through errors at the check-out. ************************************************************************ Liz Ball Northwest Community College Librarian 5331 McConnell Avenue Learning Resource Centre Terrace, BC V8G 4C2 ball@noradm.nwcc.bc.ca phone (250) 638-5407 fax (250) 635-1594
