POSITION OPENING ANNOUNCEMENT

LIBRARIAN, $3262-$4073/month

TITLE:  Coordinator of Childrens & Family Literacy Services.  

The Fort Vancouver Regional Library, a 11 branch library district
providing service in four counties situated along the Columbia River, is
currently seeking an energetic and creative individual to manage and
provide overall direction, planning and coordination of the activities and
operations of system-wide childrens and family literacy services.  The
successful candidate will work with others within state committees and
organizations.  District offices are located in Vancouver, Washington.
Requires an MLS from an ALA accredited university and the ability to
obtain a Washington Librarian Certificate, five or more years increasingly
responsible professional library experience, two years supervisory
experience and experience working with children.  Must be able to pass the
Washington State Criminal Records check and have a valid drivers license.
