Re: staff usage policies

Juneau Public Libraries have nothing formal written down. Informal
policy is nothing on our city e-mail system that you would not want to
revisit in court, and on our every-librarian-in-state-has-one e-mail
system, personal use is ok but no lobbying. Equipment in general policy
is ok on your own time, using your own paper/supplies, nothing goes out
of the building without specific permission, and the last is meant for
the laptops, which staff may take home if not needed for classes, and the
idea is that the more staff learn on their own, the more they have to
offer the public in the workplace.
