Please help me in developing a presidential program for 1998-99

What can we do together during the year I will be ALA President that
will benefit you as a member, our profession, and library users?




What are your suggestions for presidential themes, initiatives, and
programs?  Some of the areas I am looking at are intellectual freedom
and technology, advocacy for school libraries and kids, closer
grassroots ties, diversity, and support for the American Read's
program.
