Laurentian Chapter of the Society of Environmental Toxicology &
Chemistry
1998 Annual Meeting, 29-30 May 1998
Queen's University, BioScience Complex, Kingston, Ontario

THEME: Environmental and Biomedical Toxicology: Educating Each Other

The Laurentian Chapter of SETAC is soliciting platform and poster papers
for presentation. Papers on all aspects of environmental and biomedical
toxicology, environmental chemistry, risk and hazard assessment are
invited. Papers need not be new and may be from other previous
conferences
that many of our participants have been unable to attend.

Platform presentations will be 20 minutes in duration including 5
minutes
for questions and discussion.

ABSTRACTS ARE DUE BY MAY 8, 1998. Instructions for abstract preparation
and
submittal appear below.  Submit all abstracts to:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ABSTRACT PREPARATION AND SUBMITTAL

*Submittal form: Abstracts may be submitted in either hard copy or,
preferably, in electronic format (PC-WordPerfect 6.1, Word 6.0 or lower,
or
ASCII on 3.5-inch diskette). If the abstract is submitted on diskette,
please also send a hard copy.

*Limit abstracts to 250 words or less (including authors and
affiliations).
Abstracts with greater than 250 words will be returned to the author.

*Font (print) size/type: 12 point, Times Roman, Times New Roman, or
Arial.

*Submittal Format: The first line of the abstract should contain the
title
in BOLD, CAPITAL letters. Skip 1 line and follow with the author(s), and
address(es) in italic. Underline the presenter's name.  Under the
address(es), add the presenter's telephone, fax numbers, and e-mail
address, also in italic. Skip 1 line and begin the text. The abstract
must
fit within 1-inch margins at the top and sides.
