Instruction to Contributors
Your submissions make the Quarterly a platform for the sharing and presentation of information of value to our profession and our region. Plan to share events, ideas, programs and plans happening in your library and state or province. Ideas for issue themes and/or suggestions for articles or new ways of presenting materials are welcome.
The PNLA Quarterly publishes four times per year in the fall, winter, spring and summer. The fall issue includes the conference proceedings. The winter, spring and summer issues encourage submissions on topics relevant to Pacific Northwest libraries. Articles may range in length to meet the needs of the topic. Graphs, charts, and illustrations should be reproducible in black and white. Literature cited should conform to the Modern Language Association style.
Submissions will be accepted in electronic form. Documents transmitted as e-mail messages or Word for Windows 6.0 or ASCII text on a pc-formatted 3.5" disk are preferred formats. When saving to disk from an alternative word processing package, save the file as a text (.txt) file. Deadlines for submissions are September 15 for the fall issue, December 15 for the winter issue, March 15 for the spring issue, and June 15 for the summer issue.
